JioPhone became global leader in feature phone market

Reliance Jio has disrupted the Indians used data and the company’s feature phone, JioPhone too became a hot selling property. Now, the company has gone onto achieve a rare feet, that of becoming the global leader in feature phone market. The Q1 results of 2018, placed Reliance JioPhone on top of the global market, with India contributing as much as 43% of its total feature phone shipment.

According to the Q1 2018 results, JioPhone commands a 15% share of the feature phone global market. Nokia and African major Itel grabbed the second and third sports with market shares of 14% and 13% respectively. Samsung and Tecno shared the 4^th place by claiming 6% of the world feature phone market.
