The Rajiv Gandhi Center for Biotechnology (RGCB), Thiruvananthapuram has invited applications from candidates for applying to its PhD programme. The February 2018 session of the programme offers courses under various domains of Disease Biology. The institute mandates that applicants should have to be Post Graduates in Life/Chemical/Agricultural/Environmental/Veterinary/Pharmaceutical/Medical Sciences. MCI certified MBBS degrees too are accepted by RGCB.
While students must have to secure first class marks in their qualifying examinations, the following fellowships – UGC/CSIR/ICMR/DBT/DST – INSPIRE/KSCSTE, should not expire before October, 2018. The upper age limit set by the institute is 28, as on February, 2018. The selection is based on a qualifying entrance test, which will be conducted by RGCB. The entrance test, would be followed by a selection interview. Selected candidates, would be required to go through a three month mandatory course work, from April to July, 2018.
