Students can participate in Amrita Kiran Medi IQ

The 5th season of Amritakiranam Medi IQ Praslanothari, which has been going on since 2017, will be held in January 2023 under the auspices of KGMOA, the government doctors’ association of Kerala, with an aim to inculcate scientific awareness among students and prepare them to fight against unscientific and false propaganda.

The preliminary stages of the competition will be organized on January 14, 2023 at the district headquarters. The first round is a written test consisting of 25 objective type questions.

There will be 12 questions from Biology text book of class 8, 9 and 10 and 13 questions from General Knowledge and General Health.

The six teams who qualify in the district level preliminary round can participate in the district level final round held on the same day. It will be an audio visual competition with rounds.

The first place team at the district level will get Rs 5000, second place Rs 2500 and third place Rs 1000 in addition to the trophy.

The mega final match will be held in conjunction with the KGMOA Annual Conference to be held on January 21 in Kozhikode.

At the state level, first prize winners will get Rs 10000, second prize winners will get Rs 5000 and third prize winners will get Rs 2500 and a trophy.

High school students irrespective of syllabus and language of study can participate in the competition. A team of two from a school should participate in the competition. Registration for the competition will be free.

To register for the contest, use the Google Form below. The last date for registration is January 10. A letter from the head teacher of the school should be produced at the time of competition.
