According to reports, the price of milk is likely to go up by Rs 5 by January. Minister J Chinchu Rani said that the price would be revised only after holding talks with farmers and holding a referendum.
At the same time, the government has constituted a three-member committee to study the matter in detail.
The committee comprises members from Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU), Milma, and the state government.
