OBC Premetric Scholarship.

The Madambikkam period, where two kinds of dining are provided at Pandal and outside.

It is evident that discrimination has been shown by the state government in awarding OBC Premetric Scholarships to the Poor Backward Students.

The Ezhava, Vishwakarma and Nadar sections of government approved unaided schools have been excluded from the scholarships provided by the Center and the State. However, Christian and Muslim students studying in the same schools will get this benefit. The strange distinction is in the notifications issued by the Backward Classes Development Department. With this, thousands of Ezhava, Vishwakarma and Hindu Nadar children in over 1400 approved unaided schools in the state are denied benefits.
Double in order

The first order was issued on 23 May. Accordingly, Christian and Muslim students studying in government / aided / unaided schools can apply for the pre-matric scholarship. Students can also apply.

Annual income of the guardian shall not exceed Rs.6 lakhs. In this order, the children of the backward classes are silent. The order for children belonging to the backward classes was issued on September 28. Only children belonging to Backward Classes studying in Government / Aided schools should apply. The cutoff for students applying to unaided schools has been reduced to a minimum of 80 per cent. Reduced parental income to 2.5 lakh. The government has slapped tens of thousands of poor Ezhava, Vishwakarma and Hindu Nadar students on different criteria in order to issue the same scholarship.

This is the first time that Ezhava, Vishwakarma and Nadar students have been enrolled in pre-matric scholarships. But many of them may have been the evil mouthpieces of some bureaucratic aristocrats who hoped it would not

The scholarship amounted to Rs.

The President of the Kerala Recognized School Management Association, Anand Kannasa, said the government would take a stand against this discrimination. The association has also asked SNDP general secretary Vellapally Natesan to intervene to bring the matter to the notice of the chief minister and other ministers.
