Mitsubishi is on the works of the Outlander PHEV for the Indian market. The plug in hybrid version of the SUV, is said to be different from the regular Outlander. Though the company has not released their exact plans regarding the Indian launch, it is expected that the seven seater would soon get launched in India this year.
Comprised of a 2.0 liter, four cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine, the SUV would produce 118bhp power and a peak torque figure of 186Nm. There would be two electric motors, with each of them producing 82bhp. Along with comes, the 12kW lithium ion battery, which would have fast charging feature. According to the available reports, Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV would deliver a fuel efficiency of 58kmpl, while offering a top speed of 120kmph.
