Royal Enfield has launched the limited edition model, Classic 500 Pegasus, which is inspired by the WW II model Flying Flea, used by British troops. A total of 1,000 units would be produced by the company globally, while a total of 250 units would be sold in India. Priced at INR 4.5 lakh, the Classic 500 Pegasus Limited Edition will start accepting the booking from July.
There would be two colors options available with the bike – Service Brown and Olive Drab Green. The Limited Edition RE outing will also carry a unique serial number on the fuel tank. Powered by a 499cc, air cooled, single cylinder engine, the RE Classic 500 Pegasus Limited Edition model will produce a 27.2 bhp power at 5,250rpm. The peak torque figure stands at 41.3 Nm at 4,000rpm.
