For a fourth consecutive day, oil prices increased in the country

For the fourth consecutive day, the oil prices were hiked in India. The revised rate chart indicated that the price of petrol has been increased by 40 paisa, while that of diesel got increased by 45 paisa. Earlier, it was on 7th June, which the oil prices in the country marked a hike, after a gap of 83 days – during which the nation had gone lockdown.

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation control the fuel retailing price in the country. However, the consumers in the country might get to see a dip in oil prices, as the price of Brent crude fell by more than 1 percent last day.

Revised oil price in Kochi,

Petrol: 73.81

Diesel: 68.12
