India has recorded yet another 9000 daily count figure as, a total of 9,985 new Covid cases were reported in India in the past 24 hours. With this, the total Covid cases in India has rose to 2,76,583. During the past 24 hours, the nation also reported 279 death cases as well, taking its Covid casualty to 7,745. As of now, India has a total of 1,33,632 active cases, whereas 1,35,205 people have recovered from the pandemic.
Though the country is yet to breach 10,000 figure, with more and more tests to be conducted on a daily base, India is expected to touch the figure in the coming days. While Brazil has added up a whopping 31,197 new Covid cases in the past 24 hours, US added 19,056 more Covid cases in the past 24 hours. However, US continues to lead the total Covid case chart with more than 2 million cases. John Hopkins University has found the Covid figures of India doubtful. Apart from India, the University has also found the Covid cases in 8 countries doubtful. Around the world, Covid has affected more than 7.3 million people, with the pandemic claiming the lives of 4,13,733 people.
