Amidst the lockdown restrictions, yet another movie is getting ready to resume shooting in Malayalam. Director Suraj Sukumar and his team have come up with a project, titled as ‘Route Map’. Starring Manikkuttan this Suraj Sukumar Nair directorial is been bankrolled by Sabarinath. Apart from Manikkuttan, the movie also stars Gopu Kiran and Anand Manmadhan as co heroes. Newcomer Sruthi Roshan will be playing the lead role in the film along with Nobi, Aneesh Rahman, Sujith S Nair, Anand Manmathan and Prakash Deepak. ‘Route Map’, the movie had completed its previous schedule in Chennai, after which a nationwide lockdown was installed.
The next schedule is all set to start from Thiruvananthapuram. The movie is centered on the developments taking place within three flats. When contacted, makers informed that the construction of the set is under progress in Thiruvananthapuram, and is supervised by Manoj Greenwoods, the art director of the project. The script of the project is penned by Arun T. Arun Kayamkulam, while Sasi handles the cinematographic department. Rajneesh R Chandran, Dennis Joseph, and Ashwin Varma have penned the lyrics, for which Prashant Karma has composed the music. In a time, when OTT – Theatre dilemma persists, makers of ‘Route Map’ maintained that they are looking for theatre release.
