The case of Shamna Kasim being blackmailed by a gang and asked for money, was something that shocked the Malayalam cinema world. However, soon then, police has started getting more and more shocking reports from several other girls regarding the gang, which was involved in threatening the actress. A young woman from Alappuzha has come forward, narrating a similar incident that she faced from the gang. While facing the media, she maintained that she along with seven other girls were trapped by the gang in Palakkad.
She said that all of them were locked in a hotel room for eight days, without allowing them to contact their parents. The incident, which took place on March 8th, saw the woman being informed by her friend and connected with the gang for a shooting purpose. However, upon reaching the spot, it came to be known that the whole set up was a trap and the gang’s intention was to use them as a shield for gold smuggling. The woman has already identified all the four gang members, who were arrested for threatening the actress. When shown reluctance to associate with them, the gang even threatened to kill them and their family members.
