Yet another Covid death in Kerala: State’s tally rose to 28

Yet another Covid death has been registered in Kerala. The samples of BM Abdul Rahiman (48) – who died last day – turned positive. With the death of Abdul Rahiman, who hails from Kasargode, the total number of casualties due to Covid in the state has risen to 28. Abdul Rahiman had been doing business in Hubli for the past several years. After experiencing physical illness, yesterday he was admitted at General Hospital. However, soon after getting admitted, he succumbed to death.

It was during the TrueNat test, conducted posthumously that his samples have turned positive. Soon after registering his death, his samples were taken and sent to the Central University lab. The results were made available today.
