The government has issued guidelines to open workshops and spare parts shops in Thiruvananthapuram. Institutions can work from 10 am to 5 pm. Only emergency work can be done. There is no barrier to work related to an insurance claim. Workshops for repairing tires and automotive batteries can also work. Lockdowns are not allowed to perform minor tasks, such as painting, upholstery and laundry, which are not related to an insurance claim.
On-road and off-road service will be available throughout the day for the mechanical, electrical and tire repair sectors. The workshops are divided into four categories. 15 employees and more in Category A. In Category B, with 8 to 14 employees. Category C with three to seven employees. Category D in institutions with up to two employees. 8 employees in category A, 5 employees in category B, 3 employees in category B and one employee in category D.
