Actor Pratap Pothen says a man tried to panic by phoning his elderly sister. He says he tried to frighten an unknown man by calling him his sister, who lives in Aluva. Pratap Pothen shared this information on Facebook. He added that he would clearly know the caller and that if such deception continues, legal action would be taken.

My sister is in her eighties. They were in Italy for a long time. Fortunately, they had just returned from Italy and had settled in their home in Aluva before the onset of the virus. She lives alone because her husband and son have died. I am in Chennai. She insisted on staying with me several times but they refused.
Yesterday, a fool phoned my sister and told her he was me. The driver picked up the phone. I gave the driver’s phone to my sister because I thought she was. She took her sister’s phone and started coughing. My sister did not understand when the cough worsened and her performance increased. Then he went around again and kept saying “I am Pratap”.
But my sister cut the phone and called me back. I couldn’t take a phone call because it was in the shower. My sister was upset because she was not in the mood to look up the number who called earlier. Finally, when I called back, they were relieved.
Sister gave me the number from which the call came. The call came from a number in Thiruvananthapuram. I know who it is. If this is repeated, the answer will not be the same, Pratap Pothen said.
