Recently, there was a lot of discussion when a 26-year-old youth, a Venganoor native, approached the chief minister and the police alleging that he was arm-twisted to act in an adult web series by a woman director despite his objection and the content was set to be released on Over-the-Top platform (OTT). Now in a similar incident, a woman from Malappuram has also come forward with a similar allegation.
According to a Mathrubhumi report, the woman said that her life has been ruined after acting in the web series and no one should fall prey to the female director’s scam. The woman had earlier filed a complaint against the OTT platform and the female director in the Thiruvananthapuram Cyber Cell.
Speaking to Mathrubhumi, the alleged victim revealed that she was forced to act in a vulgar web series when she had actually come to act in the serial.
The woman said, “I was clueless about the cinema-serial industry. However, I went to act gladly. However, when I reached there, I realized the deception. By then the contract had been signed.”
“I cried on set because I couldn’t act in intimate scenes.. “Don’t sit and whine, no one will listen. If you want to leave, put seven lakh rupees on the table,” the woman alleges about director.
The alleged victim added that the shooting was being executed in an isolated place and it was all their crew present in the location. They forced her to act by threatening with the contract she signed. She had no other option than act accordingly to the director’s whims.
