Reports suggested that CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Examination) would soon release the official notification of UGC NET (National Eligibility Test), 2018. The notification, which was expected to be released by February 1 earlier this month, however got delayed due to unknown reasons. The delay in notification is believed to be due to the changed examination pattern of this year.
CBSE had earlier announced that it would conduct NET 2018 on July 8. The short notification further stated that there would be only two papers for the examination this year. The existing practice in NET is that there are three papers – consuming a whole day for participants.
