Twitter India announced that they would be considering giving the ‘blue tick verification’ mark for all of its users. However, the tech world seems not very much interested in the idea of giving the verification badge for all. When contacted, Twitter officials commented that they were trying to bring more credibility into the verification marks.
That said, company officials haven’t disclosed the way, which the verification marks are going to function. As of now, earning a verified badge in Twitter needs one to go through a number of processes, by requesting the micro blogging giant to verify the authenticity of the accounts. Well, twitter’s move is in line with a heated debate, which it had gone through some months ago, over an alleged political force working behind the micro blogging site.
