Widening its list of countries, Twitter has announced rolling out operations to 24 more countries. The countries, which vary from those in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East, will now receive the Twitter Lite version, which is just 3MB in size. Interestingly, this Lite version allows the user to stay in the offline mode, if s/he happens to miss the network coverage for a temporary time period.
Another interesting feature, which the Twitter Lite puts on, is that, it only plays the videos which the user selects. In total, the main aim of Twitter Lite is to function in areas, where the signal strength is poor. Interestingly, Twitter Lite is exclusively available for only Android versions.
