Apple has come up with an innovative idea, as the company launched an app that can collect data from Apple Watch. The data collected from Apple Watch would be used to identify the irregular heart rhythms of the users and informs them about the same. The app, named Apple Heart Study mainly functions on the heart rate sensor present in the Apple Watch. As informed in the blog post of Apple, the company states that if found irregular heart rhythm, the participants would get immediate notification on their Apple Watch, iPhone and that of a free consultation with a study doctor.
Available in the US App Store, the Apple Hearth Study app is mainly meant for users who are well above 22 years of age and those, who possess Apple Watch Series 1 or later versions.
