Harish Vasudevan criticizes the inauguration of Ayodhya Ram Temple. Harish took to social media and wrote on social media, “This day is a shame for my India when the state is wearing the face of religion in the presence of VVIP bosses.”
He said in a post on social media that they are doing this in the name of my faith. Full text of the note-
I am a Hindu by faith and law.
More than that, it is human. I have learned that what is in me and in you is part of the same God.
Words of hatred are not mine,
It is not for me to bash another temple.
The destruction of a mosque by a group of criminals who broke the legal system of the country is an all-time great stain on secular democratic India.
This was made possible by inflaming the sentimentality of a crowd with no humanitarian information or education. In fact, the agenda of today’s program proves that it is not even for the good of religion or religious faith, but for political gain.
My India is ashamed of this day when the state wears the face of religion in the presence of VVIP bosses. The Present Government is defaming and Destroying My India’s Soul.
I think time will heal the great injuries they inflict on the spirit of democratic India. Today I am ashamed that they are doing this in the name of my faith. This Government makes me ashamed to write my Religion as ‘Hindu’.
I can only protest.
Even if I am gone tomorrow, my position should be here.
