The KSRTC driver who stopped the bus and saved the passengers died after suffering from chest pain during the journey. TM Parith (49) died at Perumbavoor Chembaraki Thangalam.
Parit was a driver at the Thiruvananthapuram depot. Parit was driving a KSRTC super fast bus going from Thiruvananthapuram to Thrissur.
On the way back from Thiruvananthapuram to Thrissur, Parith felt chest pain when he reached Vetamuk near Karunagapalli.
After that, the bus was pushed to the side and the passengers were kept safe. Then he collapsed. Later, Parith was taken to Karunagappally Taluk Hospital along with the conductor and passengers.
He died on the way while being shifted to Alappuzha Medical College Hospital from there. The body was brought home and buried. Nisha is Parith’s wife. Children: Mehroof and Mehfir.
