Thazhathangady murder; accused wanted to reach lover in Assam

The prime accused in the murder of a housewife in Thazhathangady, Mohammed Bilal confessed his crime. As was told by Bilal to the investigating team, it was for travelling to Assam that he engaged in the act of robbery. Reportedly, he is in love with a girl from Assam, whom he had met via social media platforms. It is also been reported that he had made some money through participating in online games as well.

That said, Bilal hasn’t been in good terms with his father, which made him no alternative options to raise money. Going in line with the reports form police, Bilal had requested the murdered Sheeba for some money, which she requested. It is learnt that though Bilal had planned theft, murder wasn’t the expected outcome. He has reportedly robbed gold worth 28 pavan and stored in his house in Ernakulam. He also confessed that leaving the car and mobile phones in different locations was meant to deceive the investigating officials. Today police would take Bilal to the lodge in Alappuzha and record his statement.
