Tamil Nadu government bans Blood Art,criminal action to be taken

State government bans ‘blood art’ in Tamil Nadu The state government took a decision to ban ‘blood art’ after the use of blood to paint pictures became widespread. Health Minister M. Subramanian told the media that criminal action will be taken against those involved in such activities.

A new culture is spreading in Tamil Nadu where blood is collected and used to paint portraits etc. This is absolutely reprehensible. Donating blood is a very sacred thing. But the minister clarified that collecting and using blood for such childish things is not acceptable.

Blood is collected in such centers without cleanliness and without following any conditions. A blood collection needle may be used by several people. It can even lead to fatal infections. After receiving the information about the blood art, the health department conducted an inspection at the centers in T Nagar and Vadapalani, Chennai. The minister also informed that blood bottles, syringes and cutting tools were seized from here. Hence blood art is banned from today. Appropriate action will be taken if anyone follows this. The minister requested the youth not to get addicted to such things.

Recently in Tamilnadu, blood art has become active in Tamil Nadu. It was also very popular among the youth.
