The mastermind of the incident, who tried to smuggle gold through diplomatic baggage at Trivnadrum airport has been identified. Swapna Suresh, a former employee of the Consulate was behind the smuggling. Swapna, was an executive secretary at the United Arab Emirates Consulate is currently absconding.
