Supplyco is getting ready to go for a statewide online distribution system. The online food distribution system of Supplyco, which has already been implemented in cities, will be extended across the state by August. With this, one would be able to make orders through the apps. Apart from the price of the cart, customers would have to spend a small fee in order to meet the delivery charge of goods. The decision was taken by the board meeting held between the top officials of Supplyco, via video conference.

As far as the chosen apps are concerned with, Supplyco would be considering the apps by various start-ups; however, existing food distribution apps too are considered for the purpose. Starting from the month of August, a brand lifting fee of Rs 2,000 will be levied for branded products. Similarly, a preferential shelving fee of Rs. 2000 will be charged for the purpose of selling the products of a single company separately. Interestingly, expatriates will be given the opportunity to open a Supplyco store. In order to migrate to a digital document file system, Supplyco would be shelling 1.9 crore.
