Functioning under the Department of Space, the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) has invited applications from academically motivated Indian students and college teachers for a Summer Internship Programme, to be held at Physical Research Laboratory. The internship will be offered during the period of May 14 to that of July 9, 2018. Upon selected, candidates will undergo an eight week training at PRL.
Student Applicants must be B.Tech/B.Sc/B.S/M.Sc (Integrated)/M.Sc.(Tech)/M.Tech students in various subjects – as was mentioned in the notification. Candidates, who have received KVPY/DST INSPIRE fellows, will receive special weightage over the rest. For Teacher candidates, he/she must have a strong academic background in the selected list of science subjects, as was notified by PRL. Applicants should also have a minimum of 5 year experience in teaching. Upon selected, while a student will get a stipend of INR 15,000 per month, those of teachers will be awarded INR 15,000 per month. Applications are to be submitted at https://www.prl.res.in/prl-eng/.
