Starring Jayasurya and Aditi Rao Hydari, ‘Sufiyum Sujathayum’ is all set to hit the Amazon Prime on July 3rd. The release date of the project was announced by Vijay Babu. Announcing the same, the noted producer said that he was really proud to present the project, which marks the debut of Malayalam projects in OTT platforms.
The decision of Vijay Babu to release the project in an OTT platform, stirred theatre owners in the state, who have gone onto warn that they might ban Vijay Babu. However, Vijay Babu was reluctant to change his mind and asserted that he would proceed with his decision. Soon then, the Producers’ Association convened an urgent meeting, in which most of the producers opted for a conventional theatrical release.
