Travancore Devaswom Board has given strict instructions to all the temples under the board, to not conduct ‘Karkidaka Vavu Bali’. All set to take place on July 20, the board found that ‘Karkidaka Vavu Bali’ is not possible to be conducted following physical distancing norms. The current situation, according to the board, would not be the ideal time for performing all kinds of religious activities, as large number of people gather both before and after ‘Karkidaka Vavu Bali’ is taken place.

With the number of Covid cases are increasing, it might not be possible for various bodies in the state to conduct religious activities by following Covid protocol.
