The SSLC and Higher Secondary examinations have begun in the state amidst the Covid fear and under strict health security. There are about 13 lakh students who sit for the exams. Today, 4,78,795 students are taking the exam. At 9.45 this morning, first and second year VHSE students have started their examination.
SSLC calculation will be held at 1.45 pm. Thermal scanner, red channel, special examination centers and police security forces have all been arranged for the conductance of the examination. The director of public education urged children to take the exam without any worry. The school-level public exams which are to take place in March, are taking place in the state after 63 extraordinary days since the lockdown. The SSLC and Vocational Higher Secondary exams will be held today and, while the Plus 1 and Plus 2 exams will begin tomorrow.
There are a total of 2945 examination centers prepared for the SSLC examination; 2032 for Higher Secondary and 389 for VHSE. There will be a maximum of 20 students in an examination hall. There are special examination centers and classrooms for students who have come from outside of Kerala and are in quarantine. They will be a sterile red channel to enter the exam hall and return, for those who are attempting examination in hotspots.
