Sharon Raj’s death at Parassala in Thiruvananthapuram after consuming kashayam and juice has proved to be a case of murder. After interrogation by the Crime Branch, the girl herself confessed to the crime. The accused woman revealed to the police on Sunday during interrogation that she decided to get rid of Sharon when she got another marriage fixed for her, so she mixed poison in the tincture.
Meanwhile, the police said that there are still some matters to be clarified in the case. At present, the police have informed that the girl’s friend is being investigated and also scientific tests are required.
As the mystery of the death continued, the investigation was taken over by the District Crime Branch yesterday. Later, the police directed that the girl’s parents and the relative who bought the juice should be present immediately.
