Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and A9 Star Lite unveiled

Samsung has officially launched two smartphones – Galaxy A9 Star and Galaxy A9 Star Lite – in China. While the company had already started receiving the pre orders from the beginning of the month, it however has not revealed key details such as pricing. Both the devices run on Android 8.1 Oreo. Galaxy A9 Star, featuring a Super AMOLED Display of 6.3 inch, comes with an aspect ratio of 18:5:9. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, the device is been offered with a RAM/ROM combination of 4GB/64GB. A 3,700mAh battery powers the device. While a 24MP sensor powers the front camera, it is a dual combination of 16MP and 24MP sensors, which power the rear camera.

On the other hand, Galaxy A9 Star Lite comes with Super AMOLED display of 6 inches. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, it is mated to a 4GB RAM, while it comes with an onboard storage of 64GB. A dual camera setup of 16MP and 5MP sensors is what powers the rear side. The selfie shooter comes with a 34MP sensor. As against Galaxy A9 Star, the Lite has got a 3,500mAh battery under the hood. The Galaxy A9 Star is been priced at 2,999 Yuan and A9 Star Lite comes with a price tag of 1,999 Yuan.
