It’s a celebration time for Bollywood as the most celebrated couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are having their big day today. The couple will be tying the knot Ranbir’s Vastu residence in Bandra, Mumbai.
The couple’s pre-wedding ceremonies started-off with mehendi on Wednesday. Mahesh Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Shweta Bachchan, Soni Razdan, Aadar Jain, Shaheen Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Karan Johar, among others, were present for the rituals.
Ranbir Kapoor’s mother Neetu Kapoor has this perfect idea to commemorate her late husband and actor Rishi Kapoor in the wedding festivities. According to inside sources, Neetu got emotional and she recalled the memories of her own Mehendi and engagement ceremony with Rishi.
She took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, the day of the wedding, to share a picture of her henna-decorated hands. In the picture, Rishi Kapoor’s name could be seen on her index finger. Legendary actor Rishi Kapoor passed away in April 2020 due to cancer.
As per an India Today report, the wedding ceremony will begin at around 3 PM. It was only yesterday, Neetu and Riddhima (Ranbir’s sister) confirmed that the wedding will take place on April 14.
