Prime Minister Narendra Modi Reviewed India’s fight against coronavirus

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has convened a meeting, which was attended by senior ministers including the Home Minister and Health Minister. Apart from the ministers, the meeting was also attended by the Principal Secretary to PM, Cabinet Secretary, Health Secretary, DG ICMR and some key officers in charge of fighting against the pandemic.

Primarily intended to review India’s response to Covid 19, the meeting discussed the current situation of the country and maintained that, 2/3rd of the whole country’s cases are from 5 large cities – as was explained by NITI Ayog member Vinod Paul. Prime Minister has also advised to increase the facilities across the hospitals in the country. Prime Minister also wanted all preparations to be met before Monsoon goes big. Considering the grave situation in which Delhi is, Prime Minister suggested a high level action meeting to take place, to be attended by the Home Minister, Health Minister, Lt Governor and Chief Minister of Delhi.
