PM Narendra Modi To hold a Video Conference with State Chief Ministers on April 27

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a video conference with state chief ministers on April 27. This is the third time Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is holding a video conference with Kovid 19 in the country.

A total of 1486 new cases were reported in the country today. With this, the total number of reported cases in India has reached 20,471, out of which 15,859 are being treated. 3959 patients were discharged from hospital. The death toll in India is 652. In view of this, the prime minister is meeting with the chief ministers to evaluate the Covid defense measures in the states.

The Center has brought in an ordinance to prevent violence against health workers who are at the forefront of Covid’s defense efforts. Prime Minister Modi has said that the Epidemic Amendment Act 2020 is a clear indication of our commitment to protect every health worker who is struggling against Kovid 19. The Prime Minister said that this would ensure the safety of the health workers and no compromise could be made on their safety.
