On the day of Prana Pratishtha the baby is wanted; Hospitals crowded to give birth on January 22

Hospitals crowded to give birth on the day of Sri Rama Prana Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya. It is reported that many pregnant women and their families come with a request for caesarean section on the day of Sri Ram Temple Pranapratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya.

National media reports that the number of people approaching the hospital expressing their desire to have a baby on the ‘subha muhurta’ of the Ram Temple deity is increasing day by day.

On the basis of the belief that January 22nd, when Prana Pratishtha is held, is an auspicious time and the baby born on the day of Prana Pratishtha will receive all the virtues of Lord Rama, the pregnant women and their families demand that the birth be done on the 22nd itself.

Some astrologers predict that January 22 is an auspicious day for giving birth. Due to this reason, many pregnant women come in need.

However, health experts are coming against the priests who perform this kind of ritual.

Seema Dwivedi, in-charge of the Gynecology Department of Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial Medical College, said in an interview to the national media that the families who ask for a cesarean section to be performed on January 22 to get all the benefits of the baby are not thinking about the health of the mother and the baby.

Seema Dwivedi added that she did not think about the dangers of early and late delivery.

Seema Dwivedi said that on January 22, 35 caesareans are going to be performed in one labor room in their hospital and preparations are being made for the same.

At the same time, a section of doctors are in a position to perform caesarean section on the occasion of Prana Pratishtha Day in many cases where normal delivery should take place. Most of those who approach the hospital for premature birth are from North India.
