The threat of monkeypox continues to raise concern in Kerala. A 40-year-old man from Dubai to Kannur has been admitted to Pariyaram Government Medical College with symptoms. He reached Kannur from Dubai via Mangaluru airport.
His samples have been sent to Pune Institute of Virology for expert tests.
The first case of monkeypox was reported in the country in Kerala only. The disease was confirmed on a 35-year-old man who came from UAE. He is now undergoing treatment at a special isolation room.
