Mohanlal visits India’s indigenously built aircraft carrier INS Vikrant; See pics

Actor Mohanlal arrived at Cochin Shipyard to see India’s indigenously built aircraft carrier INS Vikrant. Actor and director Major Ravi also accompanied the superstar. A senior official of the Navy presented Mohanlal with a memento.

Mohanlal’s pictures with naval personnel are gaining attention on social media. Mohanlal arrived at the shipyard around 4 pm today. INS Vikrant was handed over to the Navy last month. Vikrant will officially join the Navy as the country celebrates 75 years of independence.

INS Vikrant is the first aircraft carrier to be built in India. It was constructed by the Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) for the Indian Navy.

The name Vikrant means “courageous” in Sanskrit. The motto of the ship is “Jayema Saṁ Yudhi Spr̥dhaḥ”, means “I defeat those who fight against me”.
