MD Homoeopathy Eligibility for Admission

The entrance commissioner published the eligibility criteria for admission to the MD Homoeopathy (Homoeo PG) through an entrance test. Students should carefully go through the general and educational qualifications given below.

4.a MD MD Homoeopathy Educational Qualifications:-

Applicants who have qualified the AIAPGET 2017 and are seeking admission to the three MD courses shall submit their applications online on the basis of Notification to be issued by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala. The Commissioner shall take necessary steps to complete the allotment process, based on the eligibility criteria detailed below, as per norms.

The eligibility criteria for AIAPGET2017 detailed under para 3 of the Information Bulletin cited, will be applicable for applicants seeking admission on the basis of Notification issued by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala. The applicants should be in possession of BHMS/Graded BHMS degree/Provisional Pass BHMS Certificate recognized as per the provisions of HCC 1973 Act and possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of BHMS/Graded BHMS degree qualification issued by the CCH/State Board/Universities/Deemed Universities and have completed one year of internship before the date of counselling. Recognition of the college and course by the University as well as Central Council of Homoeopathy must be essential for under graduate level.

Candidates found to be ineligible at any stage of AIAPGET 2017 will not appear in the counselling. Candidates who are completing their internship after counseling or are likely to complete after counseling are ineligible to participate in the admission process.

The dates indicated by candidates in regard to 12 months Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship ie. Starting date, completion date, shall be treated as final and candidates will be required to submit the original Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship completion certificate at the time of counselling.

Since some of the Universities/Institutions are having regulations that candidates who are already pursuing any PG course in their University or in another university are not eligible for admission till they complete the course. The candidates who are already pursuing PG courses either through All India Quota or State Quota and are applying for a seat under

All India Quota/State Quota shall confirm the eligibility conditions with the Kerala University of Health Sciences in this regard. MoA/AIIA/State Government/Principal and Controlling Officer/Commissioner of Entrance Examinations will not be responsible if such candidates are refused admission. Such candidates may opt for the subject and the college at their own risk and cost. The eligibility criteria will be as per CCH Regulations and notifications of Ministry of Ayush, Government of India.

Since as per Clause 1.1.4, the AIIA/MOA has no role in counselling, and since the candidature for the entrance exam is purely provisional, and considering the fact that the authenticity of the documents have not been verified by the AIIA/MoA the qualified candidates attending the counselling sessions shall submit originals along with attested copies of all documents

4.b. Age: The candidates otherwise eligible for admission should not be more than 45 years as on the first day of January of this year, subject to relaxation to a maximum of five years in the case of SC/ST and to Teachers of Homoeopathic Medical Colleges.

4.c. Nationality: Only Indian Citizens are eligible for admission to the Post Graduate courses.

4.d. Candidates claiming admission to various categories noted under second
paragraph (Distribution of seats) under Clause 5, against items 5.2 to 5.7, have to produce necessary testimonials to prove their claim for the seats mentioned there under.
