Makers confirm Kantara part 2

The makers of Hombale Films say that there will be a second part of Rishabh Shetty’s Kantara, which is a hit in theatres. The Kannada film starring Rishabh was also dubbed in Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages.

Vijay Kirgandur, founder of Hombale Films, said that the overwhelming response to ‘Kanthara’ is exciting. There is a plan to do the front or the back of the picture. The matter will be discussed with Rishabh Shetty and a decision will be taken soon. Of course ‘Kantara 2’ will come – he said.

Produced by Hombale Films, the makers of ‘KGF’, the film was released on September 30 and has since been released in other languages.

The film, made at a cost of Rs 16 crore, has already earned around Rs 410 crore. Vijay Kiragandur also said that 3000 crore rupees will be invested in the country’s entertainment industry in the next five years.
