Dulquer Salman’s movie ‘Kurup’ has hit the theaters after the Covid & lockdown issues. It was released on Friday in 505 screens in theaters and multiplexes in Kerala. On the first day alone, more than 2,000 shows took place. FEUOK, the organization of theater owners, estimates that the film grossed over Rs 6 crore on its opening day. In addition to the Dulquer Salman Fans Association, there were special shows hosted by FEUOK. Tickets for the first three days of the show sold out in most of the theaters in Kerala.
Kurup movie is directed by Srinath Rajendran and produced by Dulquer Salmaan under his own production company Wayfarar Films, is the biggest film in his career. With a whooping 35 crore budget the film tells the unsolved mystry of the death of Chacko, and Kurup who killed him.
