KSEB’s cash counters will be open from May 4

Thiruvananthapuram: The Electricity Board’s cash counters will start functioning from May 4 on wards, which was closed due to the lockdown. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said this at the press conference. With the opening of cash counters, a consumer number based arrangement will be introduced to avoid congestion in front of the counters.

The Electricity Board has announced that the surcharge will be waived until May 16 for the lockdown period bills. Consumers are advised to take advantage of the online payment system to pay electricity bills without reaching the offices. In the press conference after the Corona review meeting, the chief minister requested the consumers to make maximum use of it.
