Kerala MBBS Admission 2019

Kerala MBBS Admission 2019 for the 4½ year course at various medical colleges in Kerala is strictly based on the NEET Rank List 2019. Students those who wish to study MBBS course in Kerala should appear for the NEET UG 2019 examination conducted by CBSE on behalf of Medical Council of India.

Kerala MBBS Admission 2019 Eligibility Criteria:
Academic Eligibility: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognized equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology/Biotechnology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology put together, are eligible. In the absence of Biology, Biotechnology will be considered as a subject for academic eligibility.
AGE:
Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December 2019. No relaxation in the minimum age will be allowed. There is no upper age limit for KEAM–2019.

All Candidates who have passed/are appearing for the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination will be provisionally permitted to apply for admission under Medical & Allied courses including MBBS/BDS, if they otherwise satisfy the eligibility conditions. They should produce the original mark list of the qualifying examination passed, at the time of admission.

Preparation of Rank Lists:
There will be separate rank lists for MBBS/BDS
Rank list for MBBS/BDS Courses will be prepared on the basis of rank obtained in NEET-UG 2019 subject to the Nativity conditions as in Clause 6.1 and also subject to the qualifying criteria as per the Information Bulletin of NEET-UG 2019.
