While writing the number one heroine, the photographer’s note about actress Meera Jasmine completing the photoshoot without any complaints to her then dusty studio goes viral. The Tamil film ‘Run’ was hitting the theaters. Celebrity photographer Jamesh Kotakkal shared an unforgettable experience in his life. He also says that his good zodiac started after that photoshoot with Mira.

Meera jasmin, the doctor who evicted her from the rented house!
In 2002, I played a role in the super hit movie ‘Nammal’. Given the cinematic friendships that resulted from the photo graphic. I acted as one of the college friends of Jishnu and Sidharth Bharathan, the heroes of ‘Nammal’! Although I could often find myself on the screen while watching the movie, the locals didn’t have much talent or information!
Not even one of my very close friends was staring at Jishnu’s face in the scene! I paid close attention to this for his troubles.
I decided to hand him over after the movie, but I got in without much trouble as I was on the back of his bike.
Anyway, after the passing of ‘Nam’, my acting ambitions fell apart and I moved to Kochi with camera, accessories, wife and child.
The decision was made with the firm conviction that photography should be made more serious. A medium format camera has been purchased for this purpose.
Hire a house in Kochi. The owner is a born doctor. The very next day after our delay, we had to do a photoshoot. The star was Geetu Mohandas. The light was set inside the hall of the house and the night was shot. Geethu was one of my best friends. So the first photoshoot went on very nicely despite the odds. We got a good resolution on the new camera. Geethu has been reflective of the screen as a beautiful woman. The photo below is from the post. My son Jithu, who is in the hands of Geethu, is one year old.
I remember my wife eating an apple during the shoot. But the next morning, the homeowner’s doctor came home early the next morning !!!
The locals cheered. “I thought the house would be for residential use only. Photoshoot is difficult,” said the doctor. I mentioned earlier that I would do photoshoots. But he could not argue. The doctor requested that he be discharged within two months if he had difficulty.
So again the quest for the studio. Also in the queue if photoshoots. It was at that time that the tension took place, and the present floor was brought to the forefront by a broker.
Never forget the first sight. There is no need to set anything special to pick up the ghosts of the movie! A dusty place! The incident happened on the third floor of a building. Somehow I felt hopeful and fond of something. By the standards of Kochi then, the rent was very low. So natural!
The furniture and the camera equipment and the lights were shuffled by the afternoon. I had to do a photoshoot that evening on the floor. Heroine Meerajasmin !!!
The only connection with Meera is that Lohiyattan summoned Sutradharan’s set some time ago and took a few stills of the newcomer. My helpers sweat. Tension and I. Things are not getting anywhere.
Soon after half my preparation, Mira came up to the dusty floor, ready to buy it if she had a filmy film for dirty.
Meera and her mother looked dumbfounded as they set the lights and backdrop to the corner and moved to several corners. Actress Meera Jasmine had already started her journey in South India. Madhavan-starrer Tamil film ‘Run’ is a hit in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. A time when people are buzzing on the road to see Mira.
The soft glow that glistened in the soft flash of Mira’s wrinkles that day filled the floor. All forgot about the dust and the lack of cleanliness. The shoot went on till twelve o’clock at night.
We went somewhere and at the same time, Meera and her mother left for a meal organized without complaint.
After that the floor became my zodiac. Celebrity models for the film shoot, fashion models for the port folios, and many movie lovers have stepped up. The studio floor and each year someone improved and became beautiful.
Airfoil over the years and the carpet spread stairs
