Meanwhile, some argue that the seriousness of the incident does not disappear once a girl is found to be behind some Snapchat messages. They said the messages on Snapchat were shocking that a girl had been sent, but that there was a Boys Locker Room chat group on Instagram.
The police had last week found that the screenshots of the highly controversial Boys’ Locker Room, screenshot of Snapchat group chats, had nothing to do with the arrests. Police found that girl was behind Snapchat’s obscene chats, and that the girl shared such messages with the Snapchat group under a boy’s fake ID. Previously, the Boys Locker Room Chat Groups on Instagram were also rumored to be active on Snapchat as well as the screenshots are of their chat.
The girl chatted with a fake ID to learn the identity of her classmate and how he was behaving. In Snapchat chatting, the girl chatted in the name of Siddharth and was discussing things like raping a girl.
But the screenshots of chats sent from the fake Sidharth ID were kept by the boy and later he shared with the friends. The same screenshots were also sent to the girl who made the fake ID. But these screenshots were later promoted by some as the “Boys Locker Room” on Instagram.
The police team, who conducted a detailed investigation into the incident, recorded statements from the girl. The girl confessed to police that the chats were sent from her fake ID.
Meanwhile, the group admin was arrested several days ago in connection with the Boys Locker Room group chats on Instagram. A minor, a member of the group, was also taken into custody. Police have also identified other students who are members of the Instagram group. Police are responding to an investigation into the case.
