Interstate travel not to begin in Kerala, informs Transport Minister

Kerala Transport Minister AK Saseendran informed that the state is not looking forward to begin the interstate bus travel. The decision was taken amidst the rise of Covid cases in neighboring states, while the state itself is witnessing a massive rise in Covid cases. The Minister also stated that bus charges are not going to get increased, considering the current situation. Making it clear that stringent measures and inspection would be taken by the government, Minister also added that the inter district travel too would be inspected strictly in order to check whether any travelling protocols was violated.

Earlier, several private bus owners have maintained their stances clear that they wouldn’t be able to continue their services under current bus fare chart.
