IBM wields free service to Business protection

Launching a free service of extra privacy and security protection to both consumers and businesses, IBM along with Packet Clearing House (PCH) and The Global Alliance (GCA), made it clear that the service would shield users from malicious internet sites. The service, known as ‘Quad9 Domain Name System’ (DNS), will put automated security solution to all kinds of threats from internet. While launching the service, IBM officials stated that the IP address of every company would be translated to easily understandable names or words. Adding a layer of security and privacy for the users by means of this conversion, ‘Quad9’ will also wield protection from possible attacks by blocking them through DNS.
