Google’s ambitious project Loon – a high altitude balloon got crashed in Kenya. As reported by a section of the media, the balloon, which was deployed in Kenya in July, 2017, got crashed by the last weekend. The balloon, which is part of Google’s initiative of providing high speed internet in remote parts of the earth, contained a device – which indicated that the incident occurred, after the device had gone past the expiry date of 6 months.
Google’s Project Loon is part of the company’s ‘X’ research lab, which uses machine learning for predicting the weather systems.
