A woman police officer has been selected for the boat race at the 19th Asian Games 2022. Police officer Shalini from Mattancherry police station is undertaking preparations for the Asian Games.
The 19th Asian Games will be held in China. She had participated in the Nehru trophy boat race of 2018 in the women’s wing of the police force. Her team secured first position in the women’s Nehru trophy boat race in 2019.
Shalini’s team, had earlier, won silver medals in the 100 metres and 200 metres boat race.
