Drug Case: Raid on Ragini Dwivedi’s house, Sanjana Galrani to appear for interrogation

Bangalore: The Central Crime Branch has hinted that more people in the Kannada film industry will be caught in the Bangalore drug case. The Central Crime Branch raids actress Ragini Dwivedi’s flat in Yelahanka. Ragini Dwivedi is scheduled to appear for questioning today. He asked for time till Saturday to appear but the Central Crime Branch refused. The crime branch also asked actress Sanjana Galrani to appear for questioning. The investigation is based on the statement of Indrajith Lankesh, who was arrested in the case.

Ragini Dwivedi’s friend Ravi Shankar has been arrested by the Central Crime Branch in connection with a drug controversy. The Central Crime Branch found that he had close links with the drug mafia. There are indications that another person associated with the Kannada film industry has been arrested. It is alleged that Rahul is Sanjana Galrani’s aide. The Bengaluru Central Crime Branch has intensified its probe into allegations of drug dealing in the Kannada film industry. Ragini tweeted that the allegations were baseless and had nothing to do with the drug mafia.

There are indications that notices may be sent to 12 other prominent figures in the Kannada film industry. It is based on the statement of Indrajith Lankesh. Those found guilty will be punished no matter how high. Karnataka Home Minister Basavaraj Bomme has said that strong measures will be taken to eradicate drug abuse.

Meanwhile, Anoop said that the drug dealing was done under the cover of a hotel in Kammana Halli. The Crime Branch may also investigate his financial sources. However, no evidence has been found so far that they have links with the accused in the gold smuggling case.
