Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked Union Ministers not to visit the Ayodhya Ram Temple at least till March. News agency ANI reported that Modi asked the ministers about this in the Union Cabinet meeting.
The temple is currently crowded. ANI reports that the Prime Minister’s request is in view of the inconvenience caused to the public when visiting VIPs.
At the same time, it is reported that at least five lakh people have visited the Ayodhya temple so far in the Rama temple, which was consecrated the other day.
Three lakh people queued on Wednesday alone. There are also reports that vehicles including buses are not being allowed to reach Ayodhya as the traffic is uncontrollable.
Meanwhile, Adityanath has informed that if VIPs are visiting the Ram Temple, this information should be communicated to the state government or Sri Rama Janmabhoomi Theertha Temple Trust a week in advance.
